I wanted to make a payment for my layaway. I asked a very nice lady at customer service to call an associate to help me which she did. I stood at the layaway counter for fifteen minutes waiting when I decided I didn't need the items anyway because no one showed up. I went back to customer service to see if I can make a payment there and a different associate stood behind the counter,ignored me and continued texting on her phone. A cashier told her to help me and she replied that someone else was helping me. I had to wait for the first lady to come back and help while she was her phone. If anyone that runs Kmart reads this, stop paying people to txt and snap at work it's driving away customers
Put items on layaway (1 week ago), returned today and paid it off, but discovered that more than half of the items I purchased, are now on Sale. So I go to customer service, return and in the midst of the young lady doing the transaction, the Manager comes up and says,” You can’t return an item and then purchase it back for a lesser price”. Ok Sir, well I’ll just return the items and not purchase anything. He says, “ You can’t return them at all!”

Poor Customer Service, and I will inform everyone I know (personally & through social media) TO NOT PATRONIZE THIS PARTICULAR PLACE OF BUSINESS.
The Kmart at Crofton is good, the selections of beauty stuff or clothes are amazing, but the problem is, that the last time my mom and I went to this Kmart, there were 2 checkout lines, both crowded. That's the bad news. The good news is, that the lady at the jewelry counter lets us check out over there, if you have 15 items or less.
How are you gonna Make someone keep something they don’t want?!?!? So I asked to see the written store policy.....He couldn’t produce it, but decided to stand in front of me (a woman), and vent about “what if’s”. He was rude, ignorant,and very poor customer service to do what he did. Told me how “crazy” & “ funny” I was. Assuming that he needed a manpon because maybe he was flowing heavy and cramping, I asked him to please stop, as I was done conversing with him. He even admitted that he wasn’t listening to the questions I asked him!!!
I would suggest avoiding this store at all costs. “Management” is horrible and cashiers are extremely rude. I asked for a price check and was practically screamed at for it. The cashier had to wait for a manager and shook his head at me the whole time we waited. Very rude. It’s no wonder all these kmarts are closing.
